Mission:
The Career Services Office provides a collection of services that aid students and alumni in selecting and securing rewarding careers.
Vision:
Career Services will be identified by faculty and staff, but more importantly by students, as one of the most important offices on campus for effecting student success.
Values:
• Career development is bound to personal development.
• Career development should be fostered during the entire collegiate experience and resources provided which encourage it for a lifetime (career management).
• Career Services is uniquely positioned to connect virtually every constituent of the university, and must therefore make every effort to foster active positive connections between those constituencies.
Position Statement:
The Career Services Office is committed to providing services and opportunities that support the educational objectives and mission of SUNY Canton. The Office’s position within the Development Division provides a unique opportunity to work with internal and external constituencies to affect the success of both the students and the university itself.
