CLEP/AP

SUNY Canton is a test site for the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams.

To Register

  • Complete and submit the Registration Form at least ONE WEEK prior to test date
    • Registration for an exam with the optional essay must be submitted TWO WEEKS prior
  • Registration forms are accepted electronically (careers@canton.edu) via mail or by fax (315) 386-7980
  • Pay fees. Credit Card payments to SUNY Canton are accepted on campus and to CLEP at the time of the exam

Fees

  • REGISTRATION FEE: US$77.00 per exam payable to CLEP
    *REGISTRATION FEE:  US$80.00 - Effective July 1, 2012*

          If you are paying by check AND taking more than one exam on the same day,

             you need to write separate checks to CLEP for each exam

 

  • ADMINISTRATION FEE: US$20.00 per exam payable to SUNY Canton
    The Administrative Fee is charged each time you register

 

  • ESSAY SURCHARGE: US$10.00 per exam with optional essay

On the Day of the Exam

  • Report to the Career Services Office in French Hall
  • You will need TWO forms of photo I.D. and your admission slip on the day you take the test
  • If you are taking a foreign language exam, you must bring a set of head phones with 1/8" plug
  • Testers are given unofficial results transcripts immediately following the exam
  • One official transcript is included in the registration fee and is sent automatically

June 6, 2012 12:00 p.m. August 1, 2012 12:00 p.m.
June 27, 2012 12:00 p.m.
