Scholarly Activities Presentation Sign-up

The Scholarly Activities Celebration highlights students’ work and demonstrates the wonderful research and scholarship at SUNY Canton. The 2011 Scholarly Activities Celebration oral presentation section will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 5, in the Richard W. Miller Campus Center’s Kingston Theater and the poster presentation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, May 6, in the Southworth Library.
Presentation guidelines:

  • Posters will be limited to a 2’ by 3’ wall-mountable posters (printing and design help will be available through the graphic and multimedia design program).
  • Multimedia, three-dimensional displays, student films, and/or musical performances will not be allowed to compete in the poster category. Complex creations or technologies must be submitted in the oral presentation category.
  • Oral presentations may be supplemented by slides or videos but will be strictly restricted to 10 minutes.
  • Artistic creations must be “presentation ready” and matted and/or framed.
