  • Off–Site Testing:

    1. Find a suitable proctor and test center.
You must contact a local educational institution (eg. high school, college, library) to determine if they are willing to administer the ACCUPLACER test. It is not necessary for that institution to be a user of ACCUPLACER. The ACCUPLACER test is internet-based and only requires a computer with internet access. Suitable proctors include teachers, counselors, librarians, school administrators, military educational officers. A proctor may not be a tutor, a family member or a friend.

    2. Have proctor email: matoes@canton.edu
The proctor will need to email the following information.
        • Your name and proctor’s name
        • The proctor’s profession and contact information (fax/email address)
        • The preferred date and time for testing
        • Physical address where the test will be administered

Most students finish the exam within two hours; however, testing times vary from student to student. Please keep in mind that the test is generated from an online website, it must be completed in one sitting and the proctor must supervise the entire exam.

    3. Communicate with proctor.
The proctor will have received instructions to administer the test.
