Who should attend? SUNY Canton alumni, current students in online programs, and prospective students.
We’ll start the evening with food, drinks and mingling, followed by a panel of four alumni and one professor who will talk about how SUNY Canton helped them on their career path (and how it can help you). They’ll take questions from the audience – you might make an important business connection or learn about a new career.

Frederick Carranti ’73 (AAS, Automotive Technology)
Recently awarded Emeritus status from Syracuse University, Fred has served as the Director of the Engineering Management program for over 18 years. Fred states that, "all of the things I have done in my career, both in industry, in consulting, and in academia, can be traced back to my time at Canton." .
Marela Fiacco, PhD
Coordinator of the Healthcare Management Program, Marela has been teaching at SUNY Canton for 12 years. She has a bachelors and masters degree in Marketing and a doctorate in Healthcare Management from Northcentral University.
Tajahre Gray-Huddleston '16
Medical Staff Affairs Assistant at Crouse Memorial Hospital. While at SUNY Canton Tajahre was a student leader, serving as the President of her sorority, Delta Sigma Tau. While early on in her career in healthcare management, Tajahre has been an active volunteer in the community, devoting her time to the Red Cross and Renewal House.
Bradley Marmon '12
Emergency Management Coordinator at SUNY Upstate University Hospital. Prior to hospital emergency preparedness, Brad has been involved in emergency planning for the energy services industry, human services and vulnerable populations, and government organizations. In addition to planning, Brad spent 8 years in the response phase as an emergency first responder.
Nicholas Wildey, MPS
Recently named instructor and curriculum coordinator for SUNY Canton's Homeland Security Program, Nicholas has nearly a decade of experience working in the Department of Homeland Security – Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, as well as nearly a decade of service in the U.S. Army Reserve.
