Fitness Center Director
Teresa Minckler
Teresa Minckler is in her third year as fitness center director. Teresa also coached the women's soccer team the past three years.
In SUNY Canton's first season as a four-year program in 2007 Teresa guided the Roos to the Sunrise Conference championship and a berth in the NAIA national tournament after finishing with a perfect 12-0 conference record. Teresa was also named the Mid-State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2006.
Teresa played played soccer and basketball at the former Mater Dei College in Ogdensburg and basketball at UNC-Pembroke in North Carolina.
At Mater Dei she received her associate's degree in opthalmic dispensing and she was an Honorable Mention All-American and Most Valuable Player in Region III in basketball and was the school's Most Valuable Player in soccer.
At UNC-Pembroke she was a team captain her senior year and received her bachelor's degree in athletic training.
Teresa also worked as a student athletic trainer and student assistant coach at UNC-Pembroke and has been head coach of the Gouverneur Central girls junior varsity team.
