(Rochester, N.Y.)- Eric Cook (Cary, N.C.) and Dan Don (Gouverneur, N.Y.) each scored two goals and had one assist leading the SUNY Canton men's hockey team past the University of Rochester 8-1 Friday night in an Eastern Collegiate Hockey League game in Rochester.

The Roos (1-0, 3-0) scored the first six goals of the game up to the 14:55 mark of the second period to remain undefeated to start the season.

Dan Cibelli (Liverpool, N.Y.) added a goal and two assists for SUNY Canton. Darren Camp (Canton, N.Y.) had a goal and an assist. Pat Otwell (Orchard Park, N.Y.) and Adam Levy (Penfield, N.Y.) also scored and Mike Pearman (Columbus, Ind.) added two assists.

Jimmy Merrow (Plainsboro, N.J.) moved to 2-0 on the year as he stopped 16 of the 17 shots he faced in goal for the Roos.

John Attanasio scored for Rochester and Mark Ingram had 43 saves.
