Men's Ice Hockey Drops 5-2 Decision to Robert

(Moon Township, Pa.)- The SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team lost to No. 20 Robert Morris 5-2 Saturday afternoon in Moon Township, Pa. The Roos fell to 1-2 in the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League and 4-2 overall.
The Colonials racked up five goals up to the 12:23 mark of the third period before SUNY Canton scored two late goals in the final period.
Mark Stewart (Gansevoort, N.Y.) finally got the Roos on the board when he scored from Darren Camp (Canton, N.Y.) at the 16:24 mark. The Roos second goal came with 1:32 left in regulation off the stick of Joel Cardinal-Shultz (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) assisted by Kevin O'Connell (Cadyville, N.Y.) and Adam Levy (Penfield, N.Y.). Dustin Deleel (Massena, N.Y.) lost his first game of the year after starting 2-0 and he had 37 saves.
Ryan King, Luke Bennett and Bryan Chiavetta each had a goal and an assist for Robert Morris. Kevin Miller and John Kalichuk also scored and Robbie Fallick recorded 33 saves.
