Men's Ice Hockey Beaten By No. 4 Delaware

(Newark, Delaware)- The SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team has been hit by the injury bug and it showed Friday night as they lost to No. 4 University of Delaware 9-0 in Newark, Delaware.
The Roos (4-3) were without many of their regular players on Friday due to a variety of injuries and the Blue Hens capitalized. Delaware out shot SUNY Canton 46-26 and had six different players score a goal.
Rocky Romanella led the Blue Hens with two goals and two assists. Dave Lombardi also scored twice. Brandon Weiner had a goal and an assist and Andrew Baily chipped in with two assists. Coty Wilkerson got the shutout with 26 saves.
Jimmy Merrow (Plainsboro, N.J.) stopped 37 shots for the Roos.
