Men's Ice Hockey Falls at No. 4 Delaware 5-2
(Newark, Delaware)-The SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 4 University of Delaware Saturday in Newark, Delaware. The Roos fell to 4-4 overall.
Mike Pearman (Columbus, Ind.) and Dan Don (Gouverneur, N.Y.) each scored for the Roos in the second period. Pat Otwell (Orchard Park, N.Y.) and Darren Camp (Canton, N.Y.) assisted on Pearman's goal and Adam Levy (Penfield, N.Y.) and Joel Cardinal-Shultz (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) assisted on Don's goal.
Dustin Deleel (Massena, N.Y.) had 39 saves for the Roos.
Andre Menard scored twice and set up another goal for the Blue Hens. Mike Garnder, Dave Lombardi and Kevin Miller also scored and Cory Watkinson stopped 17 of 19 shots for the Blue Hens.
