(Ithaca, N.Y.)-SUNY Canton scored five power play goals in the second period as they cruised to a 9-0 win over Ithaca College in an ACHA game Saturday night in Ithaca.

The Roos (2-0) extended a 3-0 lead to 8-0 after two periods with those five power play goals.

Joel Cardinal-Shultz (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead the Roos effort. Adam Levy (Penfield, N.Y.) also scored twice and had one assist. Dan Cibelli (Liverpool, N.Y.), Rob Liggio (Canton, N.Y.) and Eric Randall (Tonawanda, N.Y.) each added a goal and an assist.

Dustin Deleel (Massena, N.Y.), a former player who re-joined the team this year when the Roos joined the ACHA, recorded the shut out with 27 saves. Deleel had played for SUNY Canton two years ago and was an NJCAA Distinguished Academic All-American.

Dan Antwan had 45 saves for the Bombers.
