Liggio Powers Roos To 18th Straight Win as Roos Beat RIT 6-3

(Canton, N.Y.)- Rob Liggio (Canton, N.Y.) scored two goals and assisted on another to power the SUNY Canton men’s ice hockey team to a 6-3 win over RIT on Saturday for their 18th straight win. The Roos improved to 22-5 overall.
Eric Cook (Cary, N.C.) added a goal and an assist for the Roos. Joel Cardinal-Shultz (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), Garrett Rosenbaum (Charleston, S.C.) and Darren Camp (Canton, N.Y.) also scored for SUNY Canton. Chris Lee (Gansevoort, N.Y.) made his second career start and recorded his second win stopping 15 of 18 shots in goal.
Corey Smith had a goal and an assist for the Tigers. Thomas Miodus and Matt Dombovy-Johnson also scored for RIT and Steve Paris notched 26 saves.
