Talamo Named Academic All-American

(Canton, N.Y.)- Junior Mark Talamo (Oswego, N.Y.) of the men's ice hockey team has garnered another honor for his performance in the classroom. The business major has been named an American Collegiate Hockey Association Division I Academic All-American.
Talamo, who was third on the team in scoring with nine goals and 24 points, was also named an Eastern Collegiate Hockey League Academic All-Star this year.
Talamo was second in the county among Division I players with five game-winning goals.
This past season was the Roos first year in the ACHA and they finished 24-6 and advanced to the ECHL semifinals. At one stretch the Roos won 20 straight games.
