Roos Fall to #23 Buffalo 5-3

(Amherst, N.Y.)-The SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team lost to No. 23 University of Buffalo 5-3 Friday night in Amherst. The Roos dropped to 2-1 in the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League and 2-5 overall.
Brad Wilson (Ottawa, Ontario) scored twice to lead the Roos on Friday.
Garrett Rosenbaum (Charleston, S.C.) also scored for SUNY Canton and Adam Levy (Penfield, N.Y.) passed out two assists.
Jimmy Merrow (Plainsboro, N.J.) stopped 14 of 18 shots and freshman Leos Mikulka (Trebic, Czech Republic) had one save in his first appearance of the season.
John Fitzgerald and Kevin Fischer each had two goals and one assist for Buffalo and Rich Latona recorded 38 saves in goal for the win.
