(Randolph, N.J.)- Maik Tatavosian (Irvine, Calif.) and Kyle Laurie (Canton, N.Y.) each scored two goals and added one assist leading the SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team to an 8-0 win over County College of Morris Sunday afternoon in Randolph, N.J.

The Northstars (3-0) swept the two game series outscoring the Titans 15-2 and outshooting them 112-46.

Tatavosian and Laurie each scored in the first period sandwiched around a goal by Josh Gilson (Canton, N.Y.) helping SUNY Canton build a 3-0 lead heading into the first break.

Kyle Gadway (Champlain, N.Y.) scored from Patrick Semeraro (Cortland, N.Y.) and Jeremy Kolb (Rush, N.Y.) at 14:05 of the second period for the only goal in that stanza and then Laurie, Kolb, Anthony Gruppo (Williamsville, N.Y.) and Tatavosian recorded goals in the final period to round out the scoring.

Dustin Deleel (Massena, N.Y.) registered 29 saves for SUNY Canton for his first career shutout. Kolb, Gruppo, Semeraro, and Matt Bailey (Parishville, N.Y.) each added two assists in the win.

Steve and Brandon Crappello combined to make 53 saves in goal for the Titans (3-2).
