Roos Lose to Vermont Tech 11-4 and 9-6

(Potsdam, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader to Vermont Technical College on Sunday at Clarkson University. The Roos fell 11-4 and 9-6 to the Green Knights to drop to 0-10 overall and in the Sunrise Conference.
In game one Adam Levy (Penfield, N.Y.) went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run to lead the Roos. Adam Blair (Perth, Ontario) added an RBI single and Justin Storie (Hammond, N.Y.) struck out a season-high 10 batters and yielded nine hits in seven innings.
Blake Wright scattered seven hits over seven innings and had two strikeouts for Vermont Tech. Jeff Savage went 2-for-5 with two runs and an RBI and Alexander Bonerman added two hits, two runs and two RBIs.
In the nightcap Blair went seven innings for SUNY Canton and surrendered 14 hits with four strikeouts.
Jacques DeMars (Vermontville, N.Y.) went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs for the Roos. Blair added two more hits with a run and an RBI and Myers contributed two RBIs.
Jordan White notched the win for the Green Knights recording six strikeouts and allowing seven hits over seven innings. Garrick Cronin went 2-for-4 with two runs and Savage went 1-for-4 with a run and an RBI.
