John and Valentin Honored by Sunrise Conference- 3;1/09-(Canton, N.Y.)- Junior forward Silvon John (Bronx, N.Y.), junior guard Tony Valentin (Perth Amboy, N.J.) and the SUNY Canton men's basketball team all received honors from the Sunrise Conference. John was named to the all-Sunrise Conference First Team, Valentin made the second team and the Roos were awarded the Team Sportsmanship Award for the second straight year.
