(Utica, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's basketball team lost to SUNYIT 108-93 Friday night in the Wildcat Tip-Off Tournament in Utica. The Roos fell to 0-3 on the year while the host Wildcats won their season opener.

Charles McCoy (Bronx, N.Y.) led five Roos in double figures with 21 points and seven rebounds.

Andre White (Bronx, N.Y.) added 16 points and eight boards. Che Terrazas (Rosenberg, Texas) scored 13 points and grabbed four rebounds and James Morrison (Paisley, Scotland) and Byron Jones (Glenarden, Md.) each scored 12 points apiece.

The Wildcats (1-0) were led by Dave Golembiowski who scored 24 points and hauled in 11 rebounds. Devon Moore also had a double-double with 23 points and 10 boards. Maceo Haynesworth added 21 points and Ajani Edwards chipped in with 15 for SUNYIT.
