(Potsdam, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's basketball team lost to Houghton College 83-59 Friday night at Maxcy Hall at SUNY Potsdam. The Roos record fell to 1-5 overall while the Highlanders moved to 3-2.

Andre White (Bronx, N.Y.) recorded his second consecutive double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Roos.

Bryan Williams (DeKalb Junction, N.Y.) scored a career-high 11 points and grabbed seven boards. Williams was 4-for-5 from the field, sank all three of his free throws and added a blocked shot. Malcolm Morrison (Paisley, Scotland) contributed eight points, five assists, three rebounds and three steals. James Morrison (Paisley, Scotland) also had eight points and Charles McCoy (Bronx, N.Y.) chipped in with six points.

Yannick Anzuluni had 27 points, 14 rebounds and six blocked shots for Houghton. Mada Abdelhamid added nine points and four rebounds and Jon Mannarino had six points and six assists for the Highlanders.
