(Paul Smith's, N.Y.)- Byron Jones (Glenarden, Md.) led four players in double figures with 22 points guiding the SUNY Canton men's basketball team to an 87-77 win over Paul Smith's College on Wednesday. The Roos improved to 1-5 in the Sunrise Conference and 2-14 overall while the Bobcats fell to 2-2 and 3-13.

The Roos held a slim 40-39 lead at halftime and then out scored the Bobcats 47-38 in the second half.

Jones shot 9 of 18 from the floor and added seven rebounds and two steals.

James Morrison (Paisley, Scotland) was a perfect 5-for-5 from three-point range and matched his season-high with 19 points. Charles McCoy (Bronx, N.Y.) added 14 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Andre White (Bronx, N.Y.) had 13 points and three rebounds and Che Terrazas (Rosenberg, Texas) chipped in with nine points and four boards.

Floyd Thorne and Jimmy Noel each dropped in 19 points to lead the Bobcats. Thorne also had nine assists and two steals Noel hauled in nine rebounds. Paul Dudek added a double-double for Paul Smith's with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
