(Potsdam, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's basketball team wrapped up their season on Sunday as they lost to the University of Maine at Machias 74-56 at Clarkson University's Alumni Gym. The Roos end the year at 3-9 in the Sunrise Conference and 4-18 overall while the Clippers improved 9-3 in the conference and 19-10 overall.

Byron Jones (Glenarden, Md.) led the Roos on Sunday with 12 points, six assists and three rebounds.

Andre White (Bronx, N.Y.) added 10 points and seven rebounds for SUNY Canton. Che Terrazas (Rosenberg, Texas) scored nine points, including a spectacular dunk in the second half. Jamelle Smith (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added seven points and James Morrison (Paisley, Scotland) and Wes Schofell (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) each had six points apiece.

Anthony McCoy pumped in 19 points and grabbed nine boards to lead the Clippers who will be the number two seed in the conference tournament next weekend in Portland, Maine. Noah Buehner added 14 points and Charles Calligan chipped in with 11 points and four assists.
