Roos Drop Season Opener to Roberts Wesleyan

(Rochester, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's basketball team dropped their opening game of the season losing 70-46 to Roberts Wesleyan College Wednesday night in Rochester.
Silvon John (Bronx, N.Y.) posted a double-double for the Roos (0-1) with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Antonio Valentin (Watertown, N.Y.) added 11 points, four assists and three rebounds and James Morrison (Paisley, Scotland) buried four 3-pointers for 12 points.
Mark Saladzius scored 17 points, hauled in six rebounds, made five steals and dished out four assists for the Raiders (1-1). Curt Despard added 13 points and 11 rebounds.
