John Named Player of the Week

(Canton, N.Y.)- Junior forward Silvon John (Bronx, N.Y.) has been named the Sunrise Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball.
John turned in two dominating games against two of the top teams in the conference. He scored 25 points and yanked down 22 rebounds in a 100-75 loss to Fisher College. He then collected 21 points and 10 rebounds in an 89-72 loss to the University of Maine at Machias.
John shot 60 percent from the floor in those two games.
