Forth Top Finisher at Panther Invitational

(Canton, N.Y.)- Justin Forth (Gouverneur, N.Y.) led all SUNY Canton runners on Saturday at the 17th Annual Ronald C. Hoffman Invitational at St. Lawrence University. The Roos are still battling several injuries and did not have a complete team on Saturday.
Forth came in 115th place out of 250 runners in a time of 28:32 which was eight seconds off from a career-best time in the 8K race.
Byron Danis (Rensselaer Falls, N.Y.) finished in 167th place in a time of 29:47 and Benjamin Villani (Syracuse, N.Y.) was right behind in 177th place in a time of 30:08.
Geneseo State took the overall team championship with 64 points and Peter Kosgei of Hamilton College was the individual champion in a time of 25:03.
