Small logo (Portland, Maine)- Repton Abrahams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored with 4:12 left in regulation lifting the SUNY Canton men's soccer team past the University of Machias 3-2 in the semifinals of the Sunrise Conference Tournament in Portland, Maine.

The Roos improved to 12-4 and will face top-seeded University of Maine at Fort Kent in the championship game on Monday at 11 a.m. at Memorial Field. The Bengals beat No. 3 Paul Smith's College 3-0 in the other semifinal.

SUNY Canton had built a 2-0 lead before the Clippers (6-10-2) rallied late in the second half.

The Roos first goal came in the 37th minute when Dennis Salmon (Bronx, N.Y.) volleyed a loose ball out of the air, ripping it past Machias goalie Adam Mauro. Bismark Ansah (Bronx, N.Y.) scored the Roos second goal from Abrahams in the 53rd minute.

The Clippers come-back started in the 69th minute. Pat Corliss took a nice crossing pass and chipped the ball to Isaiah Eagles who knocked a shot past Roos keeper Steven Bullock (Edwards, N.Y.). Then with 8:33 on the clock, Tom Erlanbach took a chip from the right wing and blasted a hard shot into the goal to tie the game 2-2.

SUNY Canton didn't panic and kept up their offensive attack. In the 86th minute, Abrahams took a pass from Afiba Moore (Brooklyn, N.Y.), settled the ball, turned and fired in a blistering shot from 30 yards out that deflected off a Machias defender and over the outstretched hands of Mauro for the game-winning goal.

Bullock finished with three saves and Mauro had 10.
