(Potsdam, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's soccer team was dealt a 2-0 loss by SUNY Potsdam Sunday afternoon in Potsdam. The Kangaroos evened out their record at 1-1 while the Bears improved to 2-1 overall.

Sophomore Steven Bullock (Edwards, N.Y.) made his first start of the season in goal for SUNY Canton and turned aside five shots.

Junior Garrett Lee put the Bears ahead 1-0 with an unassisted goal in the 30th minute. Junior John McCloskey made it 2-0 when he banged home a pass from junior Mike Niles in the 60th minute for the final score. Senior Tyler Lattimore stopped two shots in the win including a point blank save late in the second half to preserve the shutout.
