Roos Beat College of St. Joseph 5-1

(Rutland, Vt.)- Bismark Ansah (Bronx, N.Y.) pumped in four goals to help the SUNY Canton men's soccer team beat the College of St. Joseph 5-1 Sunday afternoon in a Sunrise Conference game in Vermont. The Roos have now won five straight games and are 7-1-1 in the conference and 7-4-2 overall.
Ansah scored two goals in each half and tallied five goals in two games this weekend.
Repton Abrahams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) also scored for the Roos and had one assist. Chris Margrey (Natural Bridge, N.Y.), Josh Avery (South Colton, N.Y.) and Dennis Salmon (Bronx, N.Y. ) each contributed an assist and Chris Hill (Watertown, N.Y.) had four saves in the win.
Nathaniel Kobbah scored for the Fighting Saints and Jason Stone and Donald Purcell combined to make 15 saves in goal.
