Roos Drop 2-1 Double Overtime Decision to

(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's soccer team dropped a tough 2-1 double overtime decision to the University of Maine at Presque Isle Sunday afternoon in Canton. The Roos fell to 7-4-1 in the Sunrise Conference while the Owls improved 7-2-1 in the conference and 10-4-1 overall.
SUNY Canton trailed for most of the second half after the Owls went ahead 1-0 in the 59th minute off a goal from Devon Peaslee.
The Roos kept battling and finally broke through with 1:37 left in regulation. Nick Leboeuf (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) sent a long pass up field from his defensive position and Moubarak Agoro (Bronx, N.Y.) beat a defender to the ball and knocked it in past Owls goalie Richard Felbaum to tie the score.
Both team played a scoreless first overtime session and then 1:03 into the second overtime, Corey Fournier chipped in a pass from the left wing to Joshua Peaslee who got behind a defender and scored past Roos goalie Eamon Case for the game-winner.
Case finished with two saves for SUNY Canton and Felbaum collected four saves.
