Roos Beat Fisher 4-0

(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's soccer team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-0 win over Fisher College Saturday afternoon in Canton. The Roos improved to 8-4-1 in the Sunrise Conference and 8-7-2 overall.
SUNY Canton led 3-0 at halftime. Josh Avery (South Colton, N.Y.) put the Roos up 1-0 when he scored off a direct kick in the 13th minute. Repton Abrahams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) made it 2-0 when he connected from Moubarak Agoro (Bronx, N.Y.) in the 35th minute and then Alexis Rivas (Bronx, N.Y.) scored from Chris Margrey (Natural Bridge, N.Y.) with six minutes left in the half.
Kevin Hicks (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) completed the scoring when he knocked in a shot from Jeff Gotham (Clayton, N.Y.) in the 87th minute.
Chris Hill (Watertown, N.Y.) recorded his first shutout of the year with three saves.
Greg Jackson had seven saves for the Falcons.
