Roos Edge Machias 2-1

(Machias, Maine)-Prince Sabatto (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal in the 30th minute as SUNY Canton edged the University of Maine at Machias 2-1 Sunday in a Sunrise Conference men's soccer game in Maine. The Roos are now 5-1-1 in the conference and 5-4-2 overall.
Repton Abrahams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored first for the Roos unassisted in the fifth minute. Sabatto's game-winning tally was assisted by Homero Flores (Mexico)).
The Clippers trimmed the lead to one when Tom Erlenbach scored from
Greg Dawson in the 50th minute but the Roos were able to hang on for
the win.
Eamon Case (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) had four saves in goal for SUNY Canton
and Adam Mauro also had four saves for Machias.
