Roos Shut Out by Wells 3-0 in Season Opener
(Potsdam, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's soccer team opened their season with a 3-0 loss to Wells College Saturday afternoon at the SUNY Potsdam Classic.
Homero Flores (Mexico) had three saves for the Roos (0-1) in his first start of the season. SUNY Canton will play Cazenovia College on Sunday at 12 p.m. at SUNY Potsdam.
Jared Puglise scored twice for Wells. Alioune Sene had one goal and Mike Birklin recorded one save in the shutout. Wells will face SUNY Potsdam on Sunday.
1st Half: Sene, 10th.
2nd Half: Publise, 53rd. Puglise (Accordino), 88th.
