Roos Fall to SUNYIT 4-0

(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 non-conference decision to SUNYIT Tuesday night in Canton. The Roos fell to 2-3-1 while the Wildcats snapped a four-game losing streak improving to 3-4.
SUNYIT took a 1-0 lead at halftime after Andy Ambrose launched a well-placed shot from 30 yards out into the upper right corner of the net in the 32nd minute.
The Wildcats went ahead 2-0 just 1:26 seconds into the second half when Kevin Parks connected from Dennis Owusu-Ansah. David Martin made it 3-0 scoring in the 63rd minute off Owusu-Ansah's second assist of the night and then Nico Facey completed the scoring with a goal in the 84th minute assisted by Parks.
Eamon Case (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) had three saves for the Roos while Alex Schmitt stopped two shots for SUNYIT.
