(Canton, N.Y.)- Josh Mowery (Elizabethtown, N.Y.) had a goal and an assist leading SUNY Canton past Paul Smith's College 3-0 Saturday afternoon in a Sunrise Conference men's soccer game. The Roos improved to 3-1-1 in the conference and 3-4-2 overall while the Bobcats fell to 2-3 and 2-4.

Prince Sabatto (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) opened the scoring for the Roos when he took a nice lead pass from Mowery and drilled a shot past Bobcats goalie Seth Branch in the 28th minute. Moubarak Agoro (Bronx, N.Y.) made it 2-0 at the break when he scored unassisted with 4:02 left in the opening half.

Mowery then closed out the scoring when he connected for his first goal of the season from Repton Abrahams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) in the 71st minute.

Eamon Case (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) had one save in the first half and Chris Hill (Watertown, N.Y.) had two saves in the second half.
