Roos Fall to SUNY Potsdam 2-0

(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's soccer team gave up a goal in each half as they fell to SUNY Potsdam 2-0 Tuesday night in Canton.
The Roos (0-2-1) held a slight edge in shots, 14-13, but only six of those went on goal as freshman Evan Smith stopped all of those shots for his first career shutout for the Bears (3-1-1).
John McCloskey opened the scoring for SUNY Potsdam when he placed a shot past Roos goalie Eamon Case (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) in the 36th minute. McCloskey then set up Matt Rudd for the Bears second goal in the 49th minute.
Case finished with three saves for SUNY Canton.
