Roos Battle Presque Isle to 0-0 2ot Tie

(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's soccer team battled to a 0-0 double overtime tie against the University of Maine at Presque Isle Sunday in Canton. The Roos are now 4-3-2 in the Sunrise Conference and the Owls moved to 4-3-2 as well in conference play and 8-3-2 overall.
The Roos had a great chance to end the game late in the first overtime period. Repton Abrahams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) bent a direct kick from about 45 yards out that looked like it was headed for the upper left corner of the net but it caromed off the crossbar.
Eamon Case (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) had three saves for the Roos while Richard Felbaum turned aside five shots for the Owls.
