Roos top Morrisville State 3-2

(Canton, N.Y.)- Kevin Hicks (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) scored two late goals in regulation lifting the SUNY Canton men's soccer team past Morrisville State College 3-2 in a non-conference game in Canton. The Roos moved to 7-5-2 overall while the Mustangs dropped to 3-12-1.
The Mustangs broke a 1-1 tie and took a one-goal lead in the 76th minute when Stanley Pierre-Louis scored his second goal of the game.
Just over five minutes later Hicks scored his first goal from Repton Abrahams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) to draw the game even for the second and final time. Hicks then netted the game-winner in the 84th minute off an assist from Chris Cumella (Webster, N.Y.).
Eamon Case (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) had four saves for SUNY Canton who out shot the Mustangs 20-10.
Greg Igglesden had five saves in just over 56 minutes in goal for Morrisville State and Spencer Staring notched three saves playing the remainder of the second half.
