Cumella Lifts Roos Past D'Youville 1-0
(Elma, N.Y.)- Chris Cumella (Webster, N.Y.) made his first career goal a memorable one as he helped SUNY Canton beat D'Youville College 1-0 in a men's soccer game Saturday afternoon in Elma.
The freshman from Webster-Thomas High School took a pass from junior Repton Abrahams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) in the 59th minute and scored his first collegiate goal as the Roo evened their record at 1-1.
Sophomore Eamon Case (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) made six saves for his fourth career shutout.
