(Randolph Center, Vt.)- The SUNY Canton men's soccer team blanked Vermont Technical College 3-0 Saturday in Randolph Center, Vt. The Roos improved to 1-0-1 in the Sunrise Conference and 2-2-1 overall.

The Roos, who out shot the Green Knights 20-12, scored just one goal in the first half. James Catillaz (Gansevoort, N.Y.) scored from Brett Nortz (Watertown, N.Y.) in the 8th minute and the Roos took a 1-0 lead into halftime.

In the 70th minute Nortz set up Bryant Wickwire (Parishville, N.Y.) for a 2-0 lead and then Josh Harvey (North Creek, N.Y.) completed the scoring with an unassisted tally in the 76th minute.

Sophomore Eamon Case (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) notched his second shutout of the season and fifth of his career stopping three shots.

Nate James had seven saves for Vermont Tech.
