Men's Soccer Coaching Staff
Head Coach Al Benda
Al is in his 11th year as head coach of the men's soccer team and he is only the second coach in the program's history. Last season Al was named the Mid-State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year for the third time in his career.
Al graduated from SUNY Cortland where he also earned his master's degree. While at Cortland, he played soccer and hockey. Al also attended Cayuga Community College where he played soccer and tennis and ran track.
Al has coached boy's soccer at Gouverneur and Hammond
Central School and boy's ice hockey at Canton Central School. He currently
works at Potsdam Middle School as a physical education teacher.
Al lives in Canton with his wife Shelly and daughter Taylor.

Assistant
Coach Scott McCormick
Scott is entering his ninth season as an assistant coach with the men's soccer team.
Scott is a graduate of Heuvelton Central School where he wa an All-Northern in soccer, basketball, and baseball. He continued his education at Potsdam State College.
Scott is currently employed at Mitel, Inc., as an import/export analyst.
Scott lives in Ogdensburg with his wife Tisha, their son Justyn and daughter Natalie.
