(Utica, N.Y.)- SUNY Canton saw their two-game winning streak snapped
on Tuesday as they lost at SUNYIT 70-55.
Lauren Ploof (Hammond, N.Y.), this week's Sunrise Conference Player of the Week, had 17 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Roos (2-5).
Megan Davis (Hammond, N.Y.) added nine points and four boards. Shannon LaFave (Ogdensburg, N.Y.), the Sunrise Conference Rookie of the Week, contributed seven points and four rebounds and Kristi Farrell (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) and Julie Vander Wiel (Malone, N.Y.) each added six points apiece.
Annmarie Spaulding dropped in a game-high 20 points for the Wildcats
(5-4) who built a 40-19 lead at halftime. Hillary Pundt added 14 points
and three rebounds and Andrea Beach, Tiffany Holthouse and Tamara Williams
each had eight points.
