(Potsdam, N.Y.)- Junior forward Megan Davis (Hammond, N.Y.) sparked the SUNY Canton women's basketball team to a 61-32 win over Fisher College Saturday night at Alumni Gym at Clarkson University.

Davis came off the bench to help break an early 4-4 first half tie scoring eight points in a 12-2 run by the Roos that opened up a double-digit lead. Davis finished with a game-high 12 points, four rebounds and three steals.

Freshman forward Shannon LaFave (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) notched her first career double-double for SUNY Canton (3-0 Sunrise Conference, 3-6) with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Jackie Maynard (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) also reached double figures with 10 points and seven rebounds and Lauren Ploof (Hammond, N.Y.) and Kristi Farrell (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) each dropped in eight points apiece.

Shatia Roberts scored 11 points and snagged 17 rebounds for the Falcons (1-2, 3-13). Tiffany Beckman added nine points and Jackie Streeter and Brianna Roberts each had four.
