(Potsdam, N.Y.)- Shannon LaFave (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) dropped in 20 points and Jackie Maynard (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) had 18 leading the SUNY Canton women's basketball team past Word of Life 85-22 Thursday night at Clarkson's Alumni Gym.

LaFave had 12 points at halftime and Maynard went 6-for-8 from the free throw line.

Kristi Farrell (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) added 11 points and Lauren Ploof (Hammond, N.Y.) contributed nine for the Roos.

The Huskies were led by Alyssa Patch who scored eight points. Amanda Klaus added seven and Alyssa Korcipa chipped in with four.
