(Canton, N.Y.)- Sophomore guard Lauren Ploof (Hammond, N.Y.) has been named the Sunrise Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball for the second time this season after guiding the Roos to a pair of wins this past weekend.

Ploof averaged 18.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 6.0 steals and 4.0 assists in a 69-63 win over the University of Maine at Fort Kent and a 64-46 win over the University of Maine at Machias. Ploof shot 45 percent from the floor and 76 percent from the free throw line while playing nearly 38 minutes a game at point guard.

The Liberal Arts major has led the Roos to a 5-0 record in the conference and she is currently second in steals (3.18) and free throw percentage (.756), third in assists (3.3), sixth in scoring (13.8) and seventh in rebounding (6.8).

Ploof also won the award on Jan. 15.
