Roos Lose to SUNYIT 62-46 in Wildcat Tip Off

(Utica, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women's basketball team lost to SUNYIT 62-46 in the second day of the Wildcat Tip Tournament in Utica. The Roos fell to 0-6 overall while SUNYIT improved to 2-0.
Shannon LaFave (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) scored a team-high 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Roos. Mindy Small (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) had eight points, five rebounds and two assists. Kristi Farrell (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) also had eight points along with two assists and Nicole Davidson (Hammond, N.Y.) added seven points and four rebounds.
Three SUNYIT players recorded double-doubles led by Tamara Williams
who had 23 points and 16 rebounds. Taylor Topping scored 19 points and
hauled in 10 boards and Tiffany Holhouse added 10 points and 12 rebounds.
