Roos Snap Two-Game Skid With 78-39 Win Over St. Joseph

(Rutland, Vt.)- The SUNY Canton women's basketball team snapped a two-game losing skid with a convincing 78-39 win over the College of St. Joseph Saturday afternoon in Rutland, Vt. The Roos improved to 4-2 in the Sunrise Conference and 5-12 overall.
Nicole Davidson (Hammond, N.Y.) scored a career-high 17 points and grabbed four rebounds to lead the Roos.
Shannon LaFave (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) added 15 points and six rebounds and Julie Vander Wiel (Malone, N.Y.) chipped in with 10 points.
The Fighting Saints were led by Michelle Thompson who had 14 points and two rebounds.
