Roos Win Third Straight With 56-40 Win Over Machias

(Machias, Maine)- The SUNY Canton women's basketball team won their third straight game on Saturday beating the University of Maine at Machias 56-40 in Maine. The Roos improved to 8-2 in the Sunrise Conference and 8-13 overall.

Jackie Maynard (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) had 17 points, five rebounds and three assists to lead the Roos.

Brittany Kenyon (Hammond, N.Y.) added 16 points, six rebounds and six assists and Teresa Morley (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) supplied seven points and 10 rebounds.

Carilla Fritz led the Clippers with 13 points and six boards. Ashley Johnson contributed 12 points on four 3-pointers and Talaya Woodall had 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.
