Farrell and Kenyon Receive Weekly Honors

(Canton, N.Y.)- Senior guard Kristi Farrell (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) and freshman guard Brittany Kenyon (Hammond, N.Y.) of the women’s basketball have been honored by the Sunrise Conference. Farrell was named co-Player of the Week and Kenyon earned Rookie of the Week accolades.
Farrell, who shared the award with Erica Davis of the University of Maine at Presque Isle, helped lead the Roos to a pair of conference wins this past weekend. The senior guard had 20 points and four assists in a 71-44 win over Fisher College and then had 18 points and eight rebounds in a 63-43 win over the University of Maine at Machias. Farrell sank six 3-pointers over the weekend.
Kenyon had 12 points, three rebounds and two steals in the win over Fisher and then had 13 points, six rebounds and three assists against Machias.
