(Rochester, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's cross country team came in
seventh out of 14 teams and the women placed 11th out of 15 at the Harry
Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan College on Saturday in Rochester.
Michael Wilbur (Clifton Park, N.Y.) finished in 35th place out of 152 runners with a personal-best time of 27:58 to lead the men's team. Ryan Madigan (Scotia, N.Y.) finished 39th with a time of 28:10 and Justin Forth (Gouverneur, N.Y.) was right behind in 43rd place with a time of 28:22. Stuart Nichols (West Chazy, N.Y.) (30:43) and Che Terrazas (Rosenberg, Texas) (30:46) finished 89th and 90th respectively just three seconds apart.
In the women's race Leslie Wilson (Rensselaer Falls, N.Y.) turned in
an impressive performance with a12th-place finish out of 149 runners
in a time of 20:03. Katie Ordway (North Creek, N.Y.) finished 88th in
a time of 23:07 and Katharine Hyla (Fulton, N.Y.) was 91st in a time
of 23:15.
