(Canton, N.Y.)- Two members of the SUNY Canton cross country team have been honored by the Sunrise Conference. Freshman Danielle Mellon (Oneida, N.Y.) was named the Female Runner of the Week and freshman Ryan Madigan (Scotia, N.Y.) was named the Male Runner of the Week.

Mellon has steadily improved throughout the season and this past week she came in 41st at the Utica College Invitational in a time of 23:21.

Madigan has been of the most consistent runners for the Roos. After placing third at the Bard College Invitational, he followed that with a 14th-place finish at the Utica College Invitational this past weekend in a time of 29:43.
