Small logo (Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women's soccer team enjoyed their first home game on their brand new turf field Saturday with an 8-0 win over Fisher College. The Roos remained undefeated in the Sunrise Conference with an 11-0 mark and 11-2 overall. They've won eight straight games and the last five have been shutouts.

The all-weather synthetic turf field was completed this past week and both the men's and women's teams played their first games on the turf on Saturday. The men beat Fisher 12-0 in the second game.

For the women Niki Perkins (Potsdam, N.Y.) scored once and assisted on three other goals.

Erin Tulip (Constable, N.Y.) and Ashley Winfield (Fort Plain, N.Y.) each scored twice and Justine Monahan (Ellington, Conn.), Shirle Dubrey (Saranac, N.Y.), and Shannon Seymour (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) each scored once.

Roos goalie Brenna Sexton (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) did not face a shot in goal from the Falcons.

Ana Cuartes had eight saves for the Falcons (0-11, 0-11).
